You are what you eat so watch what you eat!

It should come as no surprise that fast food is very bad for you. How bad is it you may ask? Here is a list of chemicals (ingredients) in a KFC chicken sandwich. As you can see this thing is just a poisonous payload and nothing more. Add to this sandwich a bunch of fries and a large diet Coke and you get the idea: you are headed on your way to becoming a loyal customer to Big Pharma. So, the next time you crave a chicken sandwich from KFC know that you are inching closer to subscribing to an endless supply of drugs (medicine) with fun side effects and expensive prescription plans.

O you who heed warning: eat of the good things that We have provided you; and be grateful to God if it be Him you serve.
(2:172)

And He it is that produces gardens, trellised and untrellised, and the date-palms, and crops diverse in their food, and the olive and the pomegranate, similar yet different. Eat of the fruit thereof when it bears fruit, and render its due on the day of its harvest; and commit not excess, He loves not the committers of excess.
(6:141)

I think they are also hiding ingredients from us.

A guest on the Joe Rogan show told him that we eat, on average, a credit cards worth of microplastics a week.

"Estimations of the total mass of ingested microplastic particles correspond to one credit card per week (Gruber et al., 2022)."

The plastic finds its way into the food during the production, processing and packaging of the food. This plastic consumption is linked to cancer, yet it isn't listed in the ingredients for obvious reasons. I can only think what other chemicals/ metals are used to increase the shelf life of the products but which, in turn, have a drastic effect on our physical and mental health.

There is a major supermarket in England called "Tesco", they were involved in a scandal where they sold horse meat in their beef burgers.

You can see from the article than many beef products were actually made from horse meat, and some even contained pork!

Unfortunately, we cannot trust what these people put into our food. I know it may come across as paranoia, but the truth is that even our fruits and vegetables are sprayed with chemicals. It is important for us not to fall into the trap of weaponised food.

Yes, the general public is truly in the dark as to how much food is being adulterated. I go to the supermarket and am amazed at the amount of chemicals and toxins that are masquerading as food.

Now with the advent of GMO crops that are resistant to Monsanto pesticides the elites can really poison the food supply.

If it wasn’t for the incredible mechanisms of cleansing within us, we would already be dead.

I'm in full agreement. After getting cancer young I started to educate myself and read ingredients on all our food and personal products this last year. Its mind boggling how much we trust FDA regulations and reality how much we compromise for no other reason than the indulgence of flavor, texture, and color...and those who question these things are looked at as being the tinfoil hat (conspiracy) group lol

We have felt much better eliminating processed foods out of our diet and changing all personal care products.

Y'all might like this one too...

***Please note*** My sharing After Skool videos was not a full endorsement of their content....they do produce a lot of mystical and new age material that one should be careful with.

This is a breakdown of what I approximately eat in a day:
  1. Honey (main chunk of calories)
  2. Frozen assorted fruit of differing kinds
  3. Leafy greens
  4. Milk
  5. Chicken breast
  6. Beans
I try to avoid carbs from wheat/rice like the plague due to blood sugar spikes. Regardless of fiber content. As far as a person that grew up on mainly that can in the two or so months that I've been doing it; it's a bit hard to beat the addiction. I still get my ~2k calories per day thank God. It gets a bit expensive but it would be around the same otherwise IIRC. I remember buying everything for the first time and saying "wow, I was scared of the cost for nothing."

Satan controls you with fear. Fear God brothers.

Really recommend drizzling honey on frozen fruit. My favorite pastime haha. If you follow the diet above, it's not decadent calorie-wise. Might actually struggle with maintaining weight if active, which, I recently took on a very active job. God has willed it, and I am grateful. I'm looking forward to upping my honey intake as a carb-load.

[Prophet], say, ‘In all that has been revealed to me, I find nothing forbidden for people to eat, except for carrion, flowing blood, pig’s meat- it is loathsome- or a sinful offering over which any name other than God’s has been invoked.’ But if someone is forced by hunger, rather than desire or excess, then God is most forgiving and most merciful.

Al-Anʿām, Ayah 145

In the sign that follows this one, there is a clear message that God given wide variety in food is reduced as a penalty from God, and in hell it will be even more reduced to such level that only non nutrition “food” will be available to them…let us not march towards hell unknowingly…it is ok that you fancy one food over another but suggesting this as general rule is way off…

It is strange but I can share my “diet”:

Before intake i say in Arabic (maybe I should try to find adequate wording in mother tongue): “bismillah-i-rahman-i-rahim”

Fruits and vegetables
All sorts of pastry
All sorts of cooking
All sorts of cereals
All sort of cooked, fried, baked, grilled meat Dried beef
Seeds and nuts
Pies
Soups and salads
Chocolate and some other sweets
Honey
Milk
Coffee
Tea
Natural juices
Carbonated juices
Water (also carbonated)

Just don’t overdue it for the love of God.

I’m not telling you to follow my lifestyle. It’s just something I genuinely enjoy. I like fitness and thinking about how to maximize the benefits from the foods I eat. I think, for me personally, it’s healthy; and a really fun hobby.

The point of satan was in relation to fears of change or poverty. I wanted to eat healthily and feared it would be too expensive. It was meant to be a bit of a reminder - excuse me for not being clear.

Do as you wish with God’s limits. I’m not making anything haram for you brother.

Really good choice

Tbh, I was thinking of the verse about lentils, onions, and garlic. Once again, I am not making things forbidden to you. Do what you want within God's limits if you are sincere. I'm still experimenting. I can do without beans and use other sources of protein/zinc like eggs or various meats. It's just a personal choice - I made some black beans in bulk and they tasted so much worse than the other things I was eating. The things I eat now are so refreshing and filling, I've never really felt this way on any other diet.

I'm very early on in my journey to eating healthily. I have a lot of work to do to get the "perfect" diet for me. I especially need to work on massively increasing my water intake. I've noticed since I did all this + water uptake, I've been much more "regular." This is a good thing. Waste is moving out, things like bile, dead cells, and whatnot are moving on from my body. Thus, making my body hyper-efficient.

I'm interested in what these things will do to my body. Looking at before and after pictures of people who have made lifestyle changes, you can see incredible things. I want to do that but massively to see what happens. It's super exciting for me.

I've been vegan before, though it wasn't the "healthy" vegan. I've never really eaten "healthily" consciously. I highly recommend trying something like this if you're into food.

It takes some discipline to do though.
