Where is it written about burial in Quran?

That is not specificied in the quran. For me i would prefer they just bury me no proceedings or gathering whasover . but that is my own preff3rence .

Same for myself. As far as I’m aware and concerned the Angel of Death has taken our souls or God has kept them from our sleep.
The body doesn’t matter. Stick me in the ground and have done with it.
I would like our funeral home here to care of my burial that way no one else has to deal with it. But would prayer be required? I don’t know if they have any knowledge about Muslim burial. My thought is just put me in a casket buried in a shroud period.

The modern way of burial nowadays in different cultures and countires are just man-made traditions, which has no benefits for the dead person. It is just a cermoney and an entertainment for the relatives. Some people find it psychologically soothing. (I personally don't)
It is a ritual which is determined by people themselves.
The procedure of burying a dead person is different. Burning, burying, mummifying, ... .
In coffin, in vase, ... .
With or without washing and perfuming the corpse...
From my logical and quranic view: We are made from clay, earth, soil and we should be buried under the soil without any cermoney or circus. The other God's creatures responsible and commanded for decomposing the coprses will take care of them under the soil till the judgment day.
