Ways to purify oneself - Experiences from real life

The Qur'an guides us to purify our thoughts, words, and deeds, offering a broad framework for achieving such purity. It is through following this framework, tailored to our individual circumstances, that we can align ourselves with the divine principles set forth in God's writ. I invite everyone to share their personal experiences that have contributed to their own purification and enhanced their diligence in fulfilling their duties. These experiences could be related to various aspects of life, such as marriage, work, diet, or writing.

I’d like to share a personal experience that illustrates this journey. In the past, I frequently stayed up late to finish work assignments. This habit adversely affected my health and disrupted my ability to maintain a balanced work-personal life dynamic. Recognizing the need for change, I resolved to stop staying awake past 11 PM. To make this change, I reorganized my daily routine by implementing a structured work calendar and gradually reducing my digital interactions. I allocated specific times for each task, allowing me to dedicate more quality time to my muself. I also adopted a habit of working in the mornings and reduced my consumption of caffeine and processed foods. Over a period of two months, these adjustments led to a significant transformation in my routine. Embracing the principle of "Early to bed and early to rise" has brought greater clarity to my thoughts and words. This shift has improved my focus and energy throughout the day, making me more engaged in my daily activities and more compassionate towards those around me. This experience has not only enhanced my productivity but also strengthened my alignment with my values, demonstrating how making thoughtful changes can contribute to personal purification in accordance with divine guidance.

I request you all to share your personal experiences which has helped to purify yourself and thus become more diligent towards your duty. Such experiences can be along any facets : marriage, work, diet, writing etc.

Chapter 2 Verse 110 :

And uphold the duty, and render the purity; and what good you send ahead for your souls, you will find it with God; God sees what you do.

Pray and have patience. God is the best at answering, so make sure to respond.

And when My servants ask thee concerning Me: “I am near.” I respond to the call of the caller when he calls to Me. So let them respond to Me, and let them believe in Me, that they might be guided.
