I have been following Sam and you for the past year. Thank you for all the work you have done.
I came to the Qur’an alone after I started questioning the hadiths which seemed very strange to me. This led me to Sam Gerrans and his translation of the Qur’an. I have been studying the Qur’an since.
I just ordered your new book “God’s Writ in the Qur’an” as it seems that you finally settled the issue of halal/zabihah which I was confused about.
