I am 25 years old, born and raised in Michigan from Tajik and Turkish-Chechen ancestry. I stumbled upon the path of the Quran alone sometime in 2014-2015 when I was around 16 years old. At that time I started to research hadiths more in depth and I couldn't believe what I was reading. The hadiths felt so obviously fabricated to me, the fact that billions of Muslims followed what seemed like absolute nonsense, and when I say nonsense, I truly mean it, nonsense like the hadiths where Muhammad travelled on a winged horse to heaven where he bargained with God to lower the daily prayers from 50 to 5, where Satan causes humans to yawn, and where its instructed to burn houses of people that don't wake up for the "Fajr" prayers, as examples. Needless to say, when I started to question my faith in "traditional" Islam, I started to question everything.

I see my evolution throughout life as a blessing from God and I continue to progress forward and learn everyday. I give a lot of credit to Sam Gerrans for his work with regards to the Quran and Islam. Also, thanks to brother Said for his work and this site.
