Dhul Karnayn the one with two horns meaning his power or the one with two centuries meaning his age, he was a good leader according to the quran.
we dont know who that was, because most of history is corrupted
Gog and Magog, two tribes who lived very far, they are human in my opinion, i dont think they are different from us, the christians and hadithists say they are some kind of jinn / demons / different species. i dont believe this. If they werent humans God would have mentioned that.
Dhul karnayn build a dam to protect the people who were illiterate, from those two tribes.
وَتَرَكْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَمُوجُ فِى بَعْضٍ وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَجَمَعْنَـٰهُمْ جَمْعًا
And We will leave them, that day, to surge one upon another; and the Trumpet will be blown, and We will gather them together
(18:99)
"that day" means "Day of judgement"
Lets remember that the quran refers to the earth as being flat not a globe. Meaning there could be other continents other than the continents which we know of today. Hidden from us. And in those continents exist Gog and Magog.
The hadithists and christians say the hour will start because Gog and Magog will one day say "God willing/Inchallah" before digging the dam and thats when they will come to us. I dont believe this also. Nonsense. Its God who is responsible of when the hour will happen, not the saying of inchallah by Gog and Magog.
And if they were that dangerous to us. God would have mentioned them more in the quran.
